Raw Choc Raspberry Protein Slice

ingredients //

 

base:

+ 12 medjool dates

+ 1 cup almonds

+ 1/3 cup cacao powder

+ 3 tbs coconut oil, melted

+ 2 scoops revival chocolate brownie whey protein isolate

 

raspberry layer:

+ 2 cups raspberries (fresh or frozen)

+ 2/3 cup cashews

+ 4 tbs shredded coconut

+ 2 tbs rice malt syrup

+ 1 tbs coconut oil, melted

 

top chocolate layer:

+ 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted

+ 2 tbs rice malt syrup

+ 1/4 cup cacao powder

+ 1 scoop revival chocolate brownie whey protein isolate

 

method //

 

  1. Line slice tin with baking paper.
  2. Blend all base ingredients in a high-speed blenderuntil it sticks together when pressed. Spoon mixtureinto prepared tin, smooth down with back of the spoon and place in the freezer.
  3. Blend all raspberry layer ingredients (except ricemalt syrup and coconut oil) in a high-speed blenderuntil fine. Then add the rice malt syrup and coconut oil and blend until smooth. Spoon mixture on top of the base mixture and place back in the freezer for 1-2 hours until set.
  4. Mix all chocolate layer ingredients in a bowl untilwell combined. Pour mixture on top of the raspberrylayer and place back in the freezer for 1 hour.
  5. Remove the slice from the tin and cut intobars, store in an airtight container in the freezer.
